A special coin showing Dutch striker Robin Van Persie's world cup headed goal against Spain has sold out within days of being issued.

Produced by the Royal Dutch Mint, the collectable coin shows Robin Van Persie's stunning header against Spain - called the 'Superman' diving header - which he scored during the team's opening match of the FIFA World Cup. Holland won the match 5-1, shocking the world as they thrashed the reigning world champions Spain.

The coin, which is not legal tender, shows a silhouette of the footballer diving to head the ball, while the obverse shows the Dutch lion seen on the team's football kit. The coin was limited to 6,000, and was sold on a card detailing the technical specification.
