Pobjoy Mint is celebrating the accession of His Majesty King Charles lll with a new 50p coin featuring the Royal Cypher
The coin is legal tender of the British Antarctic territory, and is a limited issue of 1,950.
The design on features His Majesty’s cypher surrounded by a rose, representing England; a daffodil, representing Wales; a thistle, representing Scotland, and shamrocks, representing Northern Ireland.
The coin has been produced in Cupro Nickel Diamond Finish and Sterling Silver, Approved by Buckingham Palace, it is the first coin produced exclusively by Pobjoy Mint to carry the effigy of King Charles lll.
