Air guitars aloft for heavy metal numismatists!
Iron Maiden fans across the glob will be familiar with 'Eddie', a perennial fixture on album covers, merchandise and at the band's legendary high-velocity live gigs. The Iron Maiden song Eddie the Trooper was included on the 1983 album Piece of Mind and he's taken on a life of his own for the band and their fans ever since.
On this coin 'Eddie the Trooper' has been cast in all his gory, visceral glory, sporting his trademark red-coat uniform and waving a Union flag.
