Vancouver artist Joe Average has created a striking design for a new Equality Dollar, marking fifty years of Canada's decriminaliasation of Homosexuality Act.
This landmark act was Canada's first step in decriminalising homosexuality.
The new $1 dollar has been created for general circulation, with a special full-colour, pure silver version also available.
Joe Average's design features a woman, the Canadian maple leaf and the words equality, egalite.
