An issue celebrating the Manx Wildlife Trust collection is the first full 2023 decimal set featuring King Charles III (5p–£5) that has been issued by the Isle of Man. The circulating set has been created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the institution that protects and conserves the diverse fauna of the island. Part of the proceeds from the packs will be donated to the Manx Wildlife Trust.

Designed and produced by the Tower Mint, who have been the Isle of Man’s currency partner since 2017, the set highlights the unique and diverse wildlife of the island, with each coin featuring a different animal, insect, bird or marine creature found on the Isle of Man.

The animals represented are:

  • Manx Shearwater (5p)
  • Lesser Mottled Grasshopper (10p)
  • Mountain Hare (20p)
  • Peregrine Falcon (50p)
  • Grey Seal (£1)
  • Basking Shark (£2)
  • Queen Scallop (£5)

Each of the coins has the name of the species featured in English and Manx Gaelic.
