The second coin in the 'ColorEYEzed' series of coins, issued on behalf of Palau, celebrates the relatively rare hazel shade, which is seen in just 10% of the world population.
With the 2nd issue of the series, CIT dive anew into the captivating colour of the human eye.
Whereas brown and even blue eyes are relatively common, hazel is more rare. Not confined to a single hue and sparkling in a vibrant and beautiful palette of colours from green to blue to dark brown, hazel eyes show up in roughly only 10% of the world’s population.
