Idaho's famous 'river of no return' is the latest beauty spot to feature on the America The Beautiful quarters programme, the US Mint has revealed.
The release celebrates a vista that covers more than 2 million acres and includes mountains, canyons, and whitewater rivers.
Designated a national site in 1980, the River of No Return Wilderness was later renamed in honour of the late U.S. Senator Frank Church, who played a leading role in its establishment as a protected wilderness.
