The USA Mint has issued a silver dollar to celebrate the centenary of the Girl Scouts organisation in the USA. The Proof coin, minted in sharp relief has an obverse inspired by the historic and contemporary aspects of Scouting, and its mission statement:

Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.

The coin features three girls who represent the different ages and diversity of Girl Scouts of the USA, along with the words: Courage, confidence, character and a 100 logo. The 100th anniversary Trefoil symbol signifies the centennial anniversary and additional inscriptions are: '2013', 'Liberty' and 'In God we Trust'.

The reverse of the coin depicts the well-known profiles of the GIrl Scouts of the USA and the inscriptions 'United States of America', 'E Pluribus Unum' (out of many, one) and 'Girl Scouts'.

To purchase the coin, visit the US Mint's website.
