Royal Mint Experience celebrates 200,000th visitor

The 200,000th person to visit The Royal Mint Experience was recently awarded with a VIP ticket and a Royal Mint 5g gold bar

Jayne Roden of Wolverhampton found herself unwittingly at the centre of a very special celebration when she became the 200,000th person to arrive for a factory tour at The Royal Mint’s award-winning tourist attraction, The Royal Mint Experience, recently.

Located in Llantrisant, South Wales, the venue awarded unsuspecting Jayne the ‘Freedom of The Royal Mint Experience’ – a special family pass allowing free access for the next 200 days and a Royal Mint 5g gold bar from Royal Mint Bullion, the organisation’s precious metal investment division. Other gifts included a special signed and framed print by respected Royal Mint coin designer Thomas Docherty.

The Royal Mint Experience has recently been awarded Visit Wales’s prestigious Gold VAQAS Award for all round excellence.
