Germany's ten euro coin to celebrate the centenary of the National Library in Germany has been designed by Victor Huster of Baden-Baden. The coin features symbols representing various elements of the library's services, including books, letters, binary characters and clefs. A quotation from Stefan Zweig which is embossed around the edge of the coin reads: Bucher sind der Eingang zur Welt (Books are the gateway to the world).
