Harrogate and Bloomsbury Coin Fairs cancelled

The regular Bloomsbury Coin Fairs and the annual Harrogate Coin Fair have been cancelled due to the Covid-19 outbreak.

Organiser John Philpotts said:

'We are sorry to have to say that we are cancelling the Bloomsbury Coin Fairs on the 4th April & 2nd May due to the Corona Virus outbreak. The date of the next Bloomsbury Coin Fair will be the 4th July and we look forward to seeing you all there once again. Please listen to government advice and together, we can beat this.'

The Harrogate Coin Fair, which was set to take place in the Yorkshire town on 17 and 18 April has also had to be cancelled. The date of the next Harrogate Coin Fair will be the 23 & 24 April 2021.

John added: 'We look forward to seeing you all there once again for a Yorkshire Springtime celebration of all things Numismatic. The health and safety of our exhibitors and visitors is of paramount importance and we do not see the current situation changing in time for our event.

 'In the meantime keep in touch with each other, many of our exhibitors have established online businesses which are still very much open for trading.'
