Five new 50p coins have been issued on behalf of the Isle of Man, to celebrate the 2019 Cricket World Cup

Officially endorsed by the ICC (International Cricket Council), the five Brilliant Uncirculated 50p coins feature the following designs:

  • Official ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 Logo
  • Cover Drive
  • Slip Catch
  • Delivery Stride
  • Stumping

The coin's obverse features the familiar portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark, seen on British coinage. The reverse sides depict cricketers in action and will no doubt be popular with cricket fans, especially fans of England and New Zealand, the two teams to have reached the final of the tournament.

The coins are limited to 9,995 sets and are available for £30 (plus P&P) from Westminster.
