The British Numismatic Society is the leading organisation for the study of coins, medals, jettons and paper money of the British Isles, the Commonwealth and other territories that have been subject to British rule.
The Society holds ten meetings each year. Seven of these take place at the Warburg Institute, Woburn Square, London, WC1H 0AB, with the remainder kindly hosted by Spink & Son at 69 Southampton Row. No prior notice is needed to attend, and members are welcome to bring guests. All meetings commence at 6pm and finish by 7.30pm. For access to the Warburg Institute, members should show their signed Membership Card to the porter on arrival to gain entry.
