Essex Numismatic Society

The Essex Numismatic Society was formed, as the Chelmsford & District Numismatic Society, in 1966 shortly before decimalisation and at a time when interest in coins and numismatics in general was increasing and new clubs and societies were proliferating.

Meetings are held on the 4th Friday of every month at the upstairs room of the the Chelmsford Museum, Moulsham Street, Chelmsford, CM2 9AQ. Doors open at 7:30 for 8pm start. For Museum security please be aware that the front door MAY be locked just after the start of the meeting.
