Amongst the highlights of the sale was a Richard III, groat, London, mm. halved sun and rose (S.2154), a little short of flan but VF and rare. SOLD FOR £500.

The section of the sale dedicated to Milled Coinage included:

Charles II, shilling, 1668, VF, SOLD FOR £200

A George I, Halfpenny, 1719, obv 2 (S.3660). AVF, SOLD FOR: £100

Victoria, Crown, 1887. Virtually EF, SOLD FOR: £50

European coins on offer included a Germany, Frankfurt City, thaler, 1859, centenary of Schillers' birth, GEF. SOLD FOR £60

World Coins include a USA trade dollar, 1876, GVF. SOLD FOR £85
