The latest online auction of coins, tokens and weights takes place on 31 March, giving collectors the chance to bid safely from their home.
Amongst the highlights of the sale is a Richard III, groat, London, mm. halved sun and rose (S.2154), a little short of flan but VF and rare, which is expected to fetch up to £1,000.
The section of the sale dedicated to Milled Coinage includes:
A Charles II, shilling, 1676, GVF, estimated to fetch up to £400
William & Mary, halfpenny, 1694 (S.3452). About VF, dark toning, estimate: £180 - £200
Victoria, old head, crown, 1900 LXIII (S.3937), near EF, estimate: £140 - £160
European coins on offer include a Germany, Hesse-Kassel, Friedrich Wilhelm I, double thaler, 1855. GVF. Estimate: £400 - £450
World Coins include a USA trade dollar, 1876, GVF, set to fetch around £120.
